Latest News: We’ve been hard at work to offer you the best features possible, it took us some time, but we’ve got it sorted & now we’re ready to introduce increased stability and some awesome new features like our provider and professional directories. Learn more about our features & services below!
Events Calendar: This Calendar is a good place to post Eating Disorders related conferences, workshops, classes, supervision groups, retreats you would like other professionals to know about. In the future we’ll be adding a sign-up/register option for this feature as well.
You can also post events you want to share with the general public such as support groups, public advocacy events or fundraisers you’re hosting.
Public Forums: are visible to everyone including the public, so if you have something Eating Disorders related you want to share with other user groups, the public forum is a great place for this.
Private Forums: are a secure place where those impacted by Eating Disorder can communicate with each-other about topics unique to your experience.. Some good uses for this forum would be:
- Emotional Support (see guidelines for appropriate topics/content)
- Sharing Progress
- Questions about treatment types
- Discussions on recent research
- Ideas for working with insurance companies
- & more, feel free to to post whatever you like as long as it’s related to the ED field & doesn’t violate the guidelines of the forum.
Provider Directory: is now live!
- The Provider Directory is visible to the public and offers listings for outpatient treatment providers (only).
- This directory is designed to assist those in need in their effort to locate local treatment Providers, as of now this service is free so hurry and get your profile set up as this may change at a later date.
- Please note, it will take time to get provider profiles in the directory, so if you can’t find a local provider right away, don’t fret we’re on it!
